Back to Long-Play Format?

Watching the wind (not that it was ever powerful) go out of the sails of the mainstream liberal folks who held some hope for a stimulus-driven recovery is getting a bit depressing. I like how Reich labels the state-level budget apocalypses of the coming two years as the “anti-stimulus” (and then some).

UCI President Pat McQuaid keeps fighting the good fight here…har, har. This comment the other day, that there was nothing improper about Armstrong pledging money to the UCI in 2002 because there were no accusations against him at the time, seemed absurd. And, of course, it is.

– This is the kind of shit that makes me apoplectic about the state of pro cycling. I’m with Adam Meyerson on this one, let the whole fucking establishment burn to the ground if this is the attitude. Who has more “love for the sport” - a guy willing to risk his life racing and doping...
